Lepidolite is made up of Mica and Lithium. Lepidolite is literally crystallised Lithium, the same mineral used in anti depressant medication, but in its pure form as it comes out of the earth. This is a lavender and purple crystal that ranges from translucent to opaque. It often forms in thin sheets or flaky layers with a pearly/glassy lustre.
