Labradorite palm stone

Labradorite gains its name from where it was first discovered, in Labrador, Canada. It has also been found in Norway and various other locations worldwide. This dark stone displays an iridescent optical effect known as labradorescence, creating flashes of light in varying colours when the crystal is moved from side to side.
